That’s why the process of becoming part of our team involves a few straightforward steps that begin with getting to know each other better. Below is a brief outline of the journey you’ll take to becoming a Mosquito Hunter.
Introductory Call: Our mosquito business start up process begins with a simple phone call. We’ll spend about 30 minutes talking about your interests, goals, and expectations, and we’ll learn a little about your background and what brought you to Mosquito Hunters as a possible career choice. At the end of this call, we’ll ask you to complete a profile that gives us deeper insight into your qualifications and who you are.
Day in the Life: If we receive your profile information and it seems like we’re a good fit for each other, we’ll schedule a second call to give you more details about the Mosquito Hunters business model. We’ll review brand and industry economics, our systems and procedures, our marketing and advertising, training and support, and our in-house sales team, among other topics. At the end of this call, you should have a good idea of what it’s like to live a “typical” day in the life of a Mosquito Hunter, and how you might fit in.
Our FDD: Now, if we both still feel ours is the right opportunity for you, you’ll receive a copy of our franchise disclosure document (FDD). The FDD is an important document that covers just about everything you need to know about the Mosquito Hunters investment, including costs, responsibilities, benefits, and more. You will have two weeks to review the FDD, perhaps with an attorney. When you’re ready, we’ll schedule one more call, during which you can ask us any questions you still have. We want you to be as fully informed as possible before you make any decisions about investing with us.
Speak with Current Franchisees: Ours is a great opportunity but you don’t have to simply take our word for it! We’ll put you in touch with current Mosquito Hunters franchisees who can explain what starting a mosquito control business with us means in terms of day-to-day operations, meeting goals, and striking a better work/life balance. They’ll share some of the peaks and valleys of their own business ownership experience and you’ll hear from them how being part of the Mosquito Hunters brand family takes a lot of guesswork out of running their franchise. We will also complete a background and credit check on you at this time.
Discovery Day: As you move closer to owning your own Mosquito Hunters franchise, you’ll get to speak with our founder and CEO, Andy Fuller, before spending a discovery day with our team. This is your “behind the curtain” opportunity to meet our top people, as well as all the hardworking folks who are there to make sure our franchisees stay on the right track. You’ll learn more about our system and culture and come away with a full appreciation for our support. We’re all in this together, and nothing exemplifies this more than a Mosquito Hunters discovery day!
Sign Your Agreement: Congratulations! We’ve made you an offer to become part of the Mosquito Hunters brand and if you accept, you’ll sign your franchise agreement and pay your franchise fee. After that, you’ll enjoy comprehensive pre-opening training to get you ready to do business, while we establish your territory and target a launch date for your new Mosquito Hunters franchise!
