We know you probably have questions about who we are and what’s involved in owning and operating a mosquito franchise with Mosquito Hunters. Check out this FAQ page for some answers!

What is a Mosquito Hunters pest control franchise?

Mosquito Hunters is a franchise business with locations throughout the United States. Our job is to keep mosquitoes, fleas, and ticks out of your yard all season long. Like sunshine without the sunburn or ice cream without the brain freeze, we’re hunting for the best parts of summer – and the only thing better than summer is a mosquito-free summer!

Our friendly, uniformed, technicians are locally trained, and all the treatments we use are registered with the Environmental Protection Agency. We also offer all-natural options utilizing organic ingredients like rosemary and thyme. We’re kid-friendly, pet-friendly, and plant-friendly, but not mosquito-friendly!

We believe one of the simplest, most profound joys in life comes from utilizing the outdoors to its fullest potential, especially in the company of family and friends. Whether our clients are residential, commercial, or municipal, our focus is on helping folks make the most of their leisure time outdoors, free from mosquitoes, fleas, ticks, and the anxiety they can cause.

Why should I start a pest control franchise business with Mosquito Hunters?

There are two ways to go about opening a pest control business of your own: you can start from scratch and take on all the responsibilities and risks yourself, or you can partner with a brand like Mosquito Hunters. There are plenty of benefits to partnering, including our time-tested business model, pre-opening training, ongoing support, an in-house sales team, and so much more! You’ll be in business for yourself but not by yourself. We encourage you to do your homework before deciding which industry or brand to invest in. But we think once you do, you’ll realize what a smart opportunity Mosquito Hunters truly is.

How much does it cost to open a pest control franchise?

Typically, total startup costs range from between $71,937 to $94,437. These figures account for just about everything you’ll need to get up and running, and a more complete breakdown of your expenses can be found on our Investment page.

At Mosquito Hunters, we’re far more interested in recruiting franchise partners who are enthusiastic about owning a business than we are in finding people with deep pockets. That’s why keep our start-up costs among some of the lowest in the industry.

We’re also very proud to offer a $10,000 discount on our franchise fee to qualified U.S. military veteran, minority, and first responder candidates. It’s just one of the ways we try to give back.

How much money can I make with a Mosquito Hunters pest control franchise?

We believe in honesty and transparency, which is why our answer to your question is this: that’s impossible to predict. A lot of your success depends on how involved and motivated you are to grow your business, and there can be outside factors that affect you bottom line, too. Having said all that, Item 19 of our franchise disclosure document shows you how much Mosquito Hunters franchises have made in the past, and we’re happy to walk through it with you on a one-on-one basis. It is critical to create a realistic revenue projection for a new business, so we encourage you to fill out our Request for Info form, for more in-depth financial details.

Who are my customers?

I don’t know the first thing about pest control. Can I still become a Mosquito Hunter?

Of course! Plenty of our franchisees started out with little or no experience in the industry and today they’re busy helping their communities stay mosquito, flea, tick, and creepy crawler free! That’s because our comprehensive training programs cover everything our new franchisees need to know about day-to-day operations of their businesses, including:

  • Recruiting, hiring, and training employees
  • Marketing their franchise using our data-driven playbooks
  • Following best practices for peak performance
  • Staying on top of industry innovations and technology
  • And much more!

Ongoing training and support is provided to all our franchise owners, and because we’re an emerging brand, we’re able to provide virtually unlimited support to new franchisees. So, don’t let your lack of experience keep you from become a Mosquito Hunter – we’ve got you covered!
