Why should I start a Mosquito Hunters business?

The success of Mosquito Hunters is directly tied to the success of each individual franchisee, so you can build your business for yourself without going it alone. We encourage you to do your homework when deciding in which business to invest. Our Franchise Owners know there are many benefits to owning a Mosquito Hunters business that other franchise systems simply do not have.

The Mosquito Hunters renewable revenue model provides industry-low startup costs, allowing you to run your business from home, without the need to purchase office space or retail space. From day one, Franchise Owners have access to our in-house sales team, who is there to quote & close sales over the phone on behalf of all franchisees, which frees up significant time for Franchisees so that they may focus on providing a high level of service to existing clients. We believe that providing this high level of service to Clients is the “holy grail” to ensuring repeat Clients.

Because we are an emerging brand, we aren’t spread too thin like other, larger franchise companies. This enables us to provide virtually unlimited support to our Franchisees.

How much is the franchise investment?
We are far more interested in recruiting great people who are enthusiastic about owning a business than we are in finding people with lots of cash to spend. For this reason, we have some of the lowest start-up costs in the industry. We offer major financial benefits over other franchise companies: low start-up costs, Military, Minority & First Responder discounts, and protected, exclusive territories. The franchise start-up cost ranges between $70,107 to 85,903 (not factoring a potential Military, Minority & First Responder discount of $10,000 from the $35,000 Franchise Fee).

In addition, we may offer you financing for the initial cash investment necessary to start, up to $35,000.

How much money can I make with Mosquito Hunters?
As you may have already discovered in the franchise world, it’s pretty hard to get a company to tell you exactly how much money you can make. This is because Uncle Sam limits what a Franchise company can legally try to predict in terms of your individual financial performance, but we can show you what our results have been using this exact same business model – and that’s exactly what we do with what is called our Item 19. A Franchise company doesn’t have to share these numbers if they don’t want to, but we really, really want to share our Mosquito Hunters financials with our prospective Franchises. The Item 19 is a section of our official Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) that we’d be happy to send you if you’re interested. The Item 19 will tell you how much Mosquito Hunters has made in the past. You can learn a lot from this document and we are more than happy to walk through it with you on a one-on-one basis. We understand how important it is to create a realistic revenue projection for a new business, so we encourage you to fill out our Request Info form for more in-depth financial details.

Who are my customers?
Another huge positive of working in the mosquito control industry is the ability to diversify our client portfolio in order to help spread market risk. Mosquito Hunters can provide mosquito, flea, and tick control services to individual homeowners, commercial properties, nurseries, day cares, hotels, restaurants, golf courses, driving ranges, sports complexes, or even pursue public municipality contracts. This diverse palette allows you to leverage your services in a good or bad economy.

Who is my competition?
An important thing to remember is that the first Mosquito Hunters started in 2014, long after a number of competitors like Mosquito Squad and Mosquito Authority had an already large presence in our original Chicagoland market. We started this company because we found a void in the market – namely a big shortage of quality customer service. Despite the foothold held by the competition, Mosquito Hunters was able to build a strong following of loyal clients, thanks to our delegation model.

As we’ve expanded via Franchising, this model has been strengthened and enhanced. Our concept allows our Franchisees to focus on treating our Clients like gold, since happy clients are much more likely to become repeat clients.

One of the big ways our Franchisees gain extra time is by delegating inbound sales responsibilities to our turnkey sales team, shared by all Franchisees. As a benefit to all franchise owners, our delegated turnkey sales team fields inbound calls from prospective clients and closes sales over the phone, allowing for a consistent client experience and freeing up our franchise partners to focus on business operations and providing excellent service, which is integral to securing a repeat client base. This is an overview of our competition, but if you have more questions, feel free to contact us.

I wish I found this business earlier! There is very little stress. All I have to do is to keep good relationships with my customers and they stay with us. Then, each year we're adding new customers and continuing to build our business.

When we launched our goal was to hit 200 customers in year one. We ended up bringing on over 400 customers and had a 90% repeat rate heading into our second year. This model works.

I am very grateful that in a time where the world seemed to stop due to the pandemic, my business took off. Being an essential business gave my family some security during a very scary time.

I grew sick of going to work every day, making money for someone else. I wanted to start making money for myself and my family. What really sold me on Mosquito Hunters was their training. It really helped me transition into owning my own business
