When looking to start a new business, there is a lot of information to take in. You may now know the basics of starting a Mosquito Hunters franchise, but you might still have unanswered questions. Keep reading below to see if your question can be answered with our Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs).
We also encourage you to fill out our request more info form, or to call 855-4-A-HUNTER (1-855 424 8683) for additional help. This will get the process started so you can be on your way to owning your own Mosquito Hunters franchise!
The success of Mosquito Hunters is directly tied to the success of each individual franchisee, so you can build your business for yourself without going it alone. We encourage you to do your homework when deciding in which business to invest. Our Franchise Owners know there are many benefits to owning a Mosquito Hunters business that other franchise systems simply do not have.
The Mosquito Hunters renewable revenue model provides industry-low startup costs, allowing you to run your business from home, without the need to purchase office space or retail space. From day one, Franchise Owners have access to our in-house sales team, who is there to quote & close sales over the phone on behalf of all franchisees, which frees up significant time for Franchisees so that they may focus on providing a high level of service to existing clients. We believe that providing this high level of service to Clients is the “holy grail” to ensuring repeat Clients.
Because we are an emerging brand, we aren’t spread too thin like other, larger franchise companies. This enables us to provide virtually unlimited support to our Franchisees.
We are far more interested in recruiting great people who are enthusiastic about owning a business than we are in finding people with lots of cash to spend. For this reason, we have some of the lowest start-up costs in the industry. We offer major financial benefits over other franchise companies: low start-up costs, Military, Minority & First Responder discounts, and protected, exclusive territories. The franchise start-up cost ranges between $69,949 to 82,209 (not factoring a potential Military, Minority & First Responder discount of $10,000 from the $35,000 Franchise Fee).
In addition, we may offer you financing for the initial cash investment necessary to start, up to $35,000.
As you may have already discovered in the franchise world, it’s pretty hard to get a company to tell you exactly how much money you can make. This is because Uncle Sam limits what a Franchise company can legally try to predict in terms of your individual financial performance, but we can show you what our results have been using this exact same business model - and that's exactly what we do with what is called our Item 19. A Franchise company doesn't have to share these numbers if they don't want to, but we really, really want to share our Mosquito Hunters financials with our prospective Franchises. The Item 19 is a section of our official Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) that we’d be happy to send you if you’re interested. The Item 19 will tell you how much Mosquito Hunters has made in the past. You can learn a lot from this document and we are more than happy to walk through it with you on a one-on-one basis. We understand how important it is to create a realistic revenue projection for a new business, so we encourage you to fill out our Request Info form for more in-depth financial details.
Another huge positive of working in the mosquito control industry is the ability to diversify our client portfolio in order to help spread market risk. Mosquito Hunters can provide mosquito, flea, and tick control services to individual homeowners, commercial properties, nurseries, day cares, hotels, restaurants, golf courses, driving ranges, sports complexes, or even pursue public municipality contracts. This diverse palette allows you to leverage your services in a good or bad economy.
An important thing to remember is that the first Mosquito Hunters started in 2014, long after a number of competitors like Mosquito Squad and Mosquito Authority had an already large presence in our original Chicagoland market. We started this company because we found a void in the market – namely a big shortage of quality customer service. Despite the foothold held by the competition, Mosquito Hunters was able to build a strong following of loyal clients, thanks to our delegation model.
As we’ve expanded via Franchising, this model has been strengthened and enhanced. Our concept allows our Franchisees to focus on treating our Clients like gold, since happy clients are much more likely to become repeat clients.
One of the big ways our Franchisees gain extra time is by delegating inbound sales responsibilities to our turnkey sales team, shared by all Franchisees. As a benefit to all franchise owners, our delegated turnkey sales team fields inbound calls from prospective clients and closes sales over the phone, allowing for a consistent client experience and freeing up our franchise partners to focus on business operations and providing excellent service, which is integral to securing a repeat client base. This is an overview of our competition, but if you have more questions, feel free to contact us.
One of the first things our Franchisees discover about Mosquito Hunters is that our corporate team is dedicated to helping our Franchises grow. We know that it is our Franchise Owners who allow is to keep the lights on, and that is why we make ourselves available to them day after day, both via scheduled meetings and on-demand support. Every area of your business is covered, from technical work to marketing. On top of that, as a Mosquito Hunters business owner, you join a brain trust of Business Owners going through the same things as you, so you are never alone. Mosquito Hunters is a franchise business with locations throughout the United States. At Mosquito Hunters, we keep mosquitoes, fleas, and ticks out of your yard all season long. Like sunshine without the sunburn and like ice cream without the brain freeze, we’re hunting for only the best parts of summer - and the only thing better than summer is a mosquito-free summer. Our friendly, uniformed Technicians are locally trained and all of the products used in our treatments are registered with the Environmental Protection Agency. We also provide all-natural options utilizing organic ingredients like rosemary and thyme. We are kid-friendly, pet-friendly, plant-friendly, but not mosquito-friendly.
We believe one of the simplest, most profound joys in life comes from utilizing the outdoors to its fullest potential, especially in the company of family and friends. Whether our Clients are residential, commercial, or municipal, our focus is on helping folks make the most of their leisure time outdoors free from mosquitoes, fleas, ticks, and the anxiety they can cause.
